Since there are over 60 variations of permanent adhesives for every conceivable roll label application, when in doubt, call for recommended sample materials from us to review and test for your particular requirement. Ideally, send us a few samples of your surface to be labeled, and we will gladly do preliminary testing before sending our recommended materials for you to choose from and confirm. This is particularly important when seeking tamperproof label constructions which require very critical adhesive bonds between the label material used and the surface to be labeled.
Every kind of label material can be had with permanent adhesive; but not every type of label substrate can be made into removable labels.
Permanent label adhesives are available in four different 'families', namely water-based acrylics, rubber based, hot melts, and solvent adhesives.
