Clear Labels
Clear labels can refer to pressure sensitive labels made from a broad range of water clear, or frosty clear film materials. The degree of clarity can be affected by the type of adhesive and liner specified.
Many people simply search MylarŪ labels (which is polyester), but may actually require the less stiff polypropylene or clear vinyl label materials for such applications as on squeezable containers or as static cling labels.
Frosty clears are also available in a variety of fim substrates depending on the ultimate label use. Often this type of film works well when being used with a thermal transfer printer. Additionally, unique applications such as temperature extremes, tamper evidence, or extra durability may call for KevlarŪ, acetate or other specialty films. When clears are metalized in chrome or gold, they make striking foil labels as well.
